What’s New in Preset - Fall 2022

The Preset team has introduced over 70 new features and more than 200 fixes and enhancements to enhance the product experience for users of Preset powered by Superset, with highlights including the ability to embed customized analytics dashboards into various applications to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Enhanced dashboard exploration features now allow users to view the underlying data of charts in tabular form with a single click, supporting deeper analysis. New workflows simplify the transition from SQL queries to visualizations, and improvements in user management permit the assignment of team roles upon invitation to mitigate incorrect data access. Enhanced collaboration features now offer more secure and straightforward dashboard sharing among team members, while a revamped homepage and streamlined workflows improve overall navigation and usability. Additional updates enable cross-referencing between charts and dashboards, previewing charts before adding them to dashboards, and faster navigation within SQL Lab and Data pages, along with several other user-friendly enhancements.
