Introducing Preset AI Assist

AI Assist is a newly launched feature by Preset that allows users, regardless of their SQL proficiency, to effortlessly convert plain English questions into SQL queries, enhancing data accessibility and streamlining the query-writing process. It offers a significant advantage to both novice and experienced SQL users by simplifying the initial steps of query formulation and saving time through AI-driven identification of relevant data structures. Users can engage with AI Assist in SQL Lab, where they can input their queries and choose to either run them directly or review the generated SQL beforehand. The feature supports databases such as BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake and is available to Preset customers on the Professional and Enterprise Plans, excluding the Starter Plan and Professional trials. Admins must enable AI Assist within their workspace to utilize this tool, which is also accessible on Preset Managed Private Cloud, offering suggestions or warnings to optimize query performance.
