Announcing PREM Confidential APIs

Prem has announced the Beta release of its Confidential API, a significant step towards creating Private Super Intelligence by ensuring AI remains private, verifiable, and sovereign. This API allows users to run state-of-the-art models within Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), ensuring data privacy by preventing access even from cloud providers or physical intruders. The API introduces three key functionalities—Confidential Chat Completions, Image Understanding, and Encrypted Transcriptions—offering a unified product with robust security measures. The infrastructure relies on hardware-based encryption technologies from AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA to maintain trust and integrity. Prem also emphasizes transparency and verification through open-sourcing "Reticle," a hardware attestation stack that allows users to cryptographically verify the execution environment's integrity. This initiative is part of a larger vision to reclaim digital sovereignty, enabling individuals to own their intelligence as a proprietary asset rather than a rented service.
