Predibase will be joining forces with Rubrik

Predibase, founded in early 2021 with the goal of democratizing deep learning, has evolved alongside the rapidly changing AI landscape, transitioning from a focus on declarative machine learning to embracing large language models (LLMs) as a new computing primitive. Initially built on Ludwig, an open-source project, Predibase's platform enabled engineers to deploy deep learning models without requiring extensive AI expertise, and it gained traction by facilitating the fine-tuning of pre-trained models like BERT. The advent of powerful models such as GPT-3.5 and ChatGPT democratized AI even further, prompting Predibase to reimagine its platform to be LLM-first, emphasizing model customization and post-training methods. This transformation included the creation of LoRA Exchange (LoRAX), an inference engine for serving multiple models efficiently. Recognizing the importance of adapting models to organizational data, Predibase has joined forces with cybersecurity leader Rubrik to harness their combined vision at the intersection of AI, data, and security, aiming to address enterprise challenges related to data access, security, and trust. With Rubrik's infrastructure support, Predibase seeks to unlock new AI use cases, ensuring their technology remains at the forefront of enterprise AI adoption.
