Summary

This is an update to our earlier reported queueing of emails. At around 10:50am EST our datacenter was doing some IP address mapping on our entire environment, resulting in Postmark sending emails from the wrong IP that's not intended for sending mass emails. For about 40 minutes, email delivery was negatively affected due to the misuse of this incorrect IP. As soon as the issue was realized, Postmark was put offline to prevent further issues. Despite being unable to resend those rejected emails programmatically, users can still resend them manually. The company is working on getting everyone reimbursed for the affected emails and is investigating how the error occurred to ensure it doesn't happen again.
