Postman's proxy feature allows users to inspect HTTP communication originating from their mobile devices by ensuring both the computer and mobile are connected to the same local wireless network. To utilize this feature, users must first open the Proxy Settings in the Postman Mac App, noting the default port, typically 5555, and set the target to "History" to capture requests. They then need to ascertain their computer's IP address and configure their mobile device's wireless settings to use an HTTP Proxy with the computer's IP and the specified port. Once configured, network calls made from apps or browsers on the mobile device will appear in the Postman App’s history sidebar, allowing users to monitor and analyze the requests.
