Streamline Access Control with Extended Roles & Permissions

Postman has expanded its roles and permissions features to improve team workflow organization by allowing more granular control over team member assignments. Previously, roles could be assigned at the collection and team levels, but with the new update, roles can now also be designated at the workspace level, introducing two new roles: Workspace Collaborator and Workspace Admin. The extension aims to accommodate diverse team structures and enhance collaborative capabilities, with plans to introduce even more roles for increased flexibility. To utilize these new features, teams must migrate to Postman v7.0, which requires a unique update process detailed in their migration resources.
