Meet a Postman Student Leader and Her 10-Day Hackathon

Kajal Hake, a Postman Student Leader since 2020 and a final-year BTech student at Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, organized a successful 10-day hackathon called We-Accinge in collaboration with various technical councils on her campus. The event, backed by organizations such as Postman and Devfolio, aimed to provide opportunities for student developers to collaborate, learn, and develop projects, especially focusing on API literacy using Postman. It featured mentors and judges from major companies like Barclays, Deutsche Bank, and JP Morgan Chase & Co. Over 80 students became certified Postman Student Experts, and more than 100 students utilized Postman's collaborative workspace, creating over 120 new public workspaces. Kajal emphasizes the importance of student communities in career development and encourages aspiring Postman Student Leaders to attend summits and meet-ups to leverage the opportunities and resources available through the program.
