Leverage Cloud Technologies with the Codebase Integrations Public Workspace
Blog post from Postman
Codebase, a UC Berkeley student organization, collaborated with Postman during the Spring 2021 semester to develop a public workspace featuring cloud integrations with major platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The project included four key integrations: Website Management, Version Control, Log Collection, and GCP Asset Upload. The Website Management Integration allows users to manage websites by utilizing API schema uploads and user flow management across AWS and Azure services. The Version Control Integration facilitates automated updates and recovery of Postman Collections through AWS CodeCommit and Azure Repos. Meanwhile, the Log Collection Integration enables the dynamic generation of Postman Collections from logs stored via AWS and Azure services, providing a snapshot of API request history. The GCP Asset Upload Integration focuses on uploading assets to Google Cloud Storage, creating storage buckets as needed. Additionally, Codebase developed mock servers and comprehensive documentation for each integration to assist users. These integrations highlight Postman's potential in leveraging cloud technologies, with further insights to be shared in a subsequent blog post.
