Codebase Postman Integrations: How We Crafted Cloud Connections
Blog post from Postman
Codebase, a student organization from UC Berkeley, collaborated with Postman during the Spring 2021 semester to create a public workspace featuring cloud integrations using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The project was divided into stages and involved weekly sprints and standups with Postman's developer advocates, which facilitated overcoming challenges and enhancing understanding, particularly regarding mock servers and dynamic variables. The team encountered difficulties with documentation, particularly with services like Azure Active Directory B2C and Google Cloud Source Repos, where inconsistent documentation and technical limitations hindered progress. Nevertheless, they successfully implemented a workaround for the Azure Log Collection Integration using Azure Blob Storage instead of premium services. The experience emphasized the importance of thorough documentation and showcased the diverse functionalities of Postman, ultimately resulting in a well-documented public workspace.
