What we built at our sun-kissed Aruba hackathon
Blog post from PostHog
Team PostHog's annual all-company offsite this year took place in Aruba, where various teams engaged in a hackathon, blending strategic sessions, cultural exercises, and social activities. Among the projects developed was MaxAI, an AI support bot designed to assist with support questions and summarize discussions, utilizing technologies like Weaviate and GPT-3.5-turbo. The event also led to the creation of dashboard template libraries, a built-in data warehouse named DataBeach, and new tutorial tracks within the PostHog platform. Efforts were also made to enhance customer support by integrating systems to better manage and analyze support requests. Other notable developments included the introduction of feature preview interfaces, enhancements to the PostHog Toolbar, and a centralized monitoring system for ClickHouse. Some projects have already been implemented, while others are in progress, with continuous improvements planned for future releases.
