Meet Logs (beta) – more debugging context, all in PostHog
Blog post from PostHog
PostHog has introduced Logs, currently in beta, as an integrated solution for developers to enhance their debugging process by providing immediate access to relevant backend logs alongside session replays and error tracking within the platform, eliminating the need to switch between different tools. By situating logs directly within the existing debugging workflow, PostHog aims to maintain context, streamline the investigation process, and reduce the time needed to piece together execution paths. Built on OpenTelemetry, Logs allows users to continue using their existing logging setups without adopting new SDKs, while future developments will focus on deeper integration with other PostHog features and AI-driven investigations to simplify understanding system behaviors.
