The Plugins Library: Built by the Team, for the Community

Port has integrated its Plugins Library into the Plugins Manager, allowing users to browse, review prerequisites for, and install ready-made custom widgets directly within the platform. Originating from a public GitHub repository created after the launch of Custom Widgets, the library grew through contributions from employees across technical, product, and customer-facing teams. Available plugins support use cases such as DORA metrics dashboards, developer-experience surveys, service dependency trees, scorecard compliance views, technical documentation browsing, entity calendars, blueprint tables, and Copilot adoption tracking. The library can also be accessed through new MCP tools and an AI skill that identifies plugins, reads their documentation, and configures required prerequisites during installation. Port describes the collection as a starting point for common platform-engineering needs, invites feedback on a potential marketplace, and plans to improve widget creation by displaying organization-specific and library plugins together.
