This integration operates at the organization level, leveraging GCP's asset inventory to map and monitor resources like container clusters and BigQuery tables across projects in real-time, reflecting changes such as creation, updates, or deletions directly in Port's software catalog. The integration is based on Port's Ocean framework and utilizes Blueprints to define and represent entities and their relationships within the catalog, streamlining the creation of comprehensive views of cloud infrastructure. This approach facilitates self-service actions and enhances the mapping process by allowing developers and teams to create tailored abstractions and views of their GCP resources.
