Polar Signals is Joining Dash0

Polar Signals is being acquired by Dash0, with its full team, continuous profiling products, Great Lakes database technology, and Parca project joining the OpenTelemetry-native observability company. Polar Signals Cloud customers will see no immediate changes to their products, data, support, profiler agents, interface, or MCP endpoint, while Parca will remain open source and continue to be maintained. Dash0 plans to integrate continuous CPU, memory, and GPU profiling into its SignalStore platform, correlating profiling information with logs, metrics, and traces, while Great Lakes will gradually replace ClickHouse as the underlying storage engine. The acquisition follows discussions between the companies about Dash0’s scaling and operational needs and Polar Signals’ work on databases designed for high-cardinality profiling data. Future plans include automated optimization recommendations through Agent0 Auto-Tune, adaptive profiling detail through SignalControl, and continued CUDA and GPU profiling development.
