Pipedream has enhanced its platform by introducing project-specific access controls, enabling users to manage who can view and edit resources such as workflows, files, and environment variables within a project. This feature is particularly useful for teams that collaborate within Pipedream, as it allows for precise access management without exposing all resources to every team member. Projects are initially accessible to the entire workspace, but users on the Business plan can restrict access to selected individuals. The platform also supports the use of environment variables to separate configuration data and secrets from code, with a new option to mark these variables as secrets, ensuring sensitive information remains hidden. By allowing environment variables to be defined at the project level, Pipedream provides more granular control over sensitive data, which enhances security and collaboration within teams.
