Bring trusted data into Parallel with Data Connectors
Blog post from Parallel Web Systems
Parallel has launched Data Connectors, a feature that integrates specialized third-party data sources into its Task and Responses APIs for agentic workflows. The connectors support three access models: automatically available Index Partners compensated through a Shapley-based model, pay-per-use providers invoked through API settings, and bring-your-own-license sources connected via remote MCP servers and existing credentials. Initial partners include data providers in news, retail intelligence, business risk, investment, blockchain, company information, consumer analytics, and web traffic, alongside free scientific and healthcare MCPs such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and bioRxiv. Customers can configure connectors in Parallel’s developer platform, use them in eligible API playgrounds, and disable sources for individual tasks, while providers gain a distribution channel and compensation linked to the value their data contributes.
