Superset has rebranded as Paradev, a developer platform built around AI agents that can work in parallel on software issues, reflecting its vision of giving developers “parallel devs” that continuously assist with coding. Founded by three former CTOs of Y Combinator companies after an initial hackathon project, the company says it gained rapid adoption following its January launch, reaching hundreds of thousands of developers across 180 countries and use at one in eight Fortune 500 companies. Paradev has raised $11.5 million in seed funding led by Union Square Ventures, with support from Y Combinator, BoxGroup, 468 Capital, Liquid 2 Ventures, and other investors and founders. The company plans to advance agent-based coding through parallelization, collaboration, and self-learning systems, while maintaining continuity for existing Superset users: accounts, settings, billing, links, the CLI command, and social channels will continue to work or redirect under the new Paradev name.
