This has led to the development of solutions like stereOS, which offers a full virtual machine environment for agents, providing isolation, hardware access, and operational control necessary for managing lifecycle and ensuring transparency in execution. The industry is shifting towards providing agents with dedicated computing environments, moving beyond the limitations of sandboxes to ensure that agents have the necessary infrastructure to operate effectively and safely.
