Developers can selectively route agent sessions through a clearing to test changes end to end, inspect captured telemetry in a local console, rebuild services from local checkouts, and run automated health checks without affecting production or other developers’ work. The tooling began as Bash orchestration and was later rewritten in Go, with safeguards that prevent commands from interacting with incorrect Kubernetes contexts or client configurations. Paper Compute says the workflow enables both engineers and coding agents to create, test, and validate platform changes locally, and it plans to combine clearings with its stereOS agent sandbox to support more autonomous “Gardener” agents that edit code, deploy isolated environments, run checks, and report evidence-backed patches.
