This new feature builds on PagerDuty's commitment to automation, with users in the early access program reporting reduced mean time to resolution (MTTR) and improved incident response standardization. Global Event Orchestration allows for the creation of complex rules to process events, enabling auto-remediation and minimizing human intervention, thus reducing the impact of incidents through intelligent routing. It integrates enhanced key management for monitoring tools and provides APIs for management at scale, supporting Terraform for orchestration rule management. The solution is designed to accommodate various teams, including ITOps, SRE, and NOC, by standardizing automation and providing diagnostics, ultimately leading to fewer incidents and faster resolutions.
