Accelerate Good Global (AGG) is an annual event organized by Fast Forward that brings together tech nonprofits, technology entrepreneurs, and philanthropists to explore how technology can address significant social issues beyond profit motives. Taking place in San Francisco, the event features discussions, workshops, and panels with industry leaders like Tim O’Reilly and Aria Finger, aiming to foster collaboration and innovation in sectors such as education, healthcare, and human rights. PagerDuty, a key partner in the event, showcases how its platform is utilized by nonprofits like The Trevor Project and Crisis Text Line to respond to emergencies in real time, enhancing their operational efficiency and impact. Alongside the event, PagerDuty offers micro-mentoring and workshops, including a half-day Incident Response Training for Tech Nonprofits, to provide practical skills and insights into leveraging technology for social change. Since its inception in 2014, Fast Forward has supported 41 tech nonprofits, collectively impacting over 51 million lives worldwide, highlighting the transformative potential of technology in the nonprofit sector.
