Breakathon Returns—Fixes Needed!
Blog post from PagerDuty
PagerDuty is hosting a Breakathon event as part of its annual PagerDuty Summit, designed to simulate the stress and excitement of on-call incident resolution in a fun and collaborative environment. The Breakathon invites participants, especially those in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or operations roles, to form teams and tackle a series of failure scenarios, progressively increasing in complexity, within a four-hour timeframe. The event, held at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, aims to promote healthy work-life balance by avoiding lengthy shifts, with doors opening at 4 p.m. and the event concluding by 8 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes like iPads or Nintendo Switches, while also enjoying food and drinks, and engaging with peers in the DevOps community. This event precedes the larger PagerDuty Summit, a significant industry gathering that focuses on sharing DevOps best practices and fostering thought leadership among over 1,500 attendees.
