2023 Wrapped: PagerDuty Community Year in Review

In 2023, PagerDuty's Developer Relations team, fondly known as the "avocados," expanded their global presence by engaging with communities across four continents—Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. Highlights include Xenda Amici's role in revamping the Community Forums and planning new features for 2024, Mandi Walls' participation in various global events such as CodeMash and DevOpsDays, and the podcast "Page It to the Limit" reaching over 100 episodes. Tara King delivered talks on incident management and mental health, while new team members Tiago Barbosa and Xenda Amici joined and contributed to the team's initiatives, including live streams and open-source projects. The team also celebrated in-person gatherings, such as in Lisbon, and introduced new team members, including Jacopen in Japan. The community is encouraged to engage through forums, podcasts, and live streams, with future plans to continue fostering connections and sharing best practices in the software industry.
