Applied Intuition, a company specializing in simulation software for autonomous vehicles, faced challenges with managing access to AWS resources while ensuring compliance with SOC2 and other certifications. Previously, access requests were handled manually through JIRA tickets, leading to operational overhead and potential security risks due to over-provisioned access. To address these issues, Applied Intuition adopted the P0 platform, which automates access provisioning and de-provisioning, thereby reducing the mean-time-to-resolution of access requests from hours to minutes and improving the security posture. The integration of P0 with tools like Slack and PagerDuty further streamlined the process, providing on-call engineers with instantaneous access, enhancing both security and developer experience.
