Developers often face frustration due to insufficient permissions required for tasks like accessing cloud storage or deploying changes in production environments, an issue that becomes more complex as companies grow and require certifications like SOC2 and ISO 27001, which mandate least privilege access. While smaller startups may resolve this by granting wide access, this approach poses risks and does not scale, leading to excessive permissions that are rarely revoked. This challenge is compounded by security engineers' lack of visibility into identity permissions and the potential compromise of sensitive systems. P0 addresses these issues by helping cloud security engineers control developer entitlements through automated IAM audits, remediation of excessive permissions, and Slackbot-enabled just-in-time access requests. The product offers a sandbox for testing on a sample GCP account and a free Starter tier for running IAM Audits and limited Slack-based access requests, inviting user feedback to improve the tool.
