Ory Expands AI Agent Security From Development Through Production With New Build and Deploy Capabilities
Blog post from Ory
Ory announced the general availability of Build and Deploy capabilities for Ory Agent Security, completing its four-stage Agent Security Lifecycle alongside existing Observe and Enforce functions. Build enables developers to embed agent identity, policy, instrumentation, and guardrails during development, while Deploy carries these configurations, permissions, and credentials consistently into production environments. Observe provides visibility into agent activity, delegated authority, attempted actions, and policy outcomes, while Enforce authorizes or blocks actions such as tool calls and commands at runtime through fine-grained policies. Ory positions the unified identity and policy foundation as a way to address the gap between an agent having valid credentials and having authorization for specific sensitive actions, allowing organizations to adopt controls at any lifecycle stage. The company says all four capabilities are available immediately and describes its platform as supporting customer, B2B, and agent identity management at global scale.
