New Features: Reasoning Streams, Crypto Invoices, End-User IDs & More

The platform now supports streaming reasoning summaries via the OpenAI o3 and o4-mini models using the OpenRouter Chat Completions API, allowing for more efficient data processing. Users can now include optional user fields with each request to improve moderation, prevent abuse, and enable per-user usage tracking. Additionally, OpenRouter has implemented two-factor authentication and Passkeys for enhanced security and updated its AI SDK to include usage accounting and PDF parsing support. These updates are part of an ongoing effort to expand the capacity of Claude 4 and Gemini 2.5 models.
