February Release Spotlight

OpenRouter's February release introduces several updates and features aimed at enhancing user experience and transparency. Model pages now display industry-standard benchmark scores for various capabilities, allowing users to assess performance before selection, with examples like Claude Sonnet 4.6 available for review. An Effective Pricing tab provides detailed cost information per provider, offering full transparency regarding tiered pricing, as demonstrated by GLM-5. The Rankings page has been updated with benchmark scatter charts and expanded tables, highlighting trends in long-context generations for requests ranging from 100K to 1M tokens. Additionally, a new free router, openrouter/free, has been launched to facilitate easy routing to all compatible free LLMs, with top free models accessible for users.
