Summary

Onehouse OneFlow is presented as a CDC pipeline platform that prevents individual invalid records from either halting data ingestion or contaminating downstream datasets by quarantining them while continuing to load valid data. In a demonstrated Postgres CDC-to-Amazon S3 Parquet pipeline, a Timestamp Validation identified an order incorrectly dated in 2099, routed its full original record to an adjacent quarantine table, and allowed two valid orders from the same synchronization cycle to reach the destination table without stopping the flow. OneFlow supports schema and timestamp validations after transformations, with timestamp rules covering future dates, relative time ranges, and specified date boundaries; for Postgres CDC timestamps, the post-transformation date-string format must be used rather than epoch microseconds. Quarantine tables store the original JSON record, failure type, and intended destination, can be queried through SQL engines, and do not automatically reload corrected records, which must instead be fixed at the source and processed in a later sync.
