Introducing Gitpod — Frictionless Coding on GitHub

Gitpod, an online service that provides disposable developer environments for GitHub projects, has been launched. It aims to eliminate the friction developers face when switching contexts between projects and branches, setting up developer environments, or waiting for builds to complete. With one-click dev environments for GitHub, users can code, review, or try out a project without any setup instructions. The service is free for public repositories and offers prebuilt workspaces that run the build and download dependencies automatically. Gitpod also supports collaboration through shared running dev environments and snapshots.
