Reflection's Beam is freely available on Ollama for a limited time
Blog post from Ollama
Reflection’s open-weight Beam model is now generally available and can be accessed for free for a limited time through Ollama Cloud, which provides zero data retention and allows users to run models without local downloads or inference management. Beam is an Apache 2.0-licensed mixture-of-experts model with roughly 501 billion total parameters, 23 billion active parameters per token, and a one-million-token context window, aimed at software engineering, complex reasoning, and long-running agent workflows. Its text-based design supports coding tasks, multi-step tool use, analysis of logs and documents, mathematical and scientific problem-solving, and customization through fine-tuning. Users can access Beam through Ollama commands and integrations for tools including Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode.
