Recently, Ollama secured $88 million in funding from prominent investors, including Peter Fenton of Benchmark and Solomon Hykes, the founder of Docker, to further advance its cloud services and support for new open models. The company's goal is to lead the charge in making open-source AI more accessible and practical, empowering developers to maintain control over their models and data while driving innovation in the field.
