Clef is available on Ollama's cloud
Blog post from Ollama
Clef is a 27-billion-parameter multimodal decision model from Cloudflare, now available through Ollama for local or cloud deployment. Fine-tuned from Qwen3.8-27B and released under the Apache 2.0 license, it processes text, JSON, and images to answer typed questions, producing structured decisions and confidence probabilities in a single pass rather than generating responses token by token. Compatible with Jev and System One APIs, Clef can route requests, verify conditions, enforce policies, extract information from documents, and moderate agent tool calls. Cloudflare reports that Clef leads its Decision Index and outperforms Jev on most benchmark tasks, though Jev remains stronger in some areas such as When2Call, BRIGHT retrieval, phishing detection, and agent trace observability; Clef-flash offers a faster alternative with lower median latency.
