Prioritizing deployments
Blog post from Octopus Deploy
As customer needs evolve, new methods have been introduced to prioritize essential deployments, enhancing the existing 'move to top' feature with automated prioritization processes. Users can now prioritize deployments either when creating a new deployment or by prioritizing an environment in a lifecycle phase, ensuring expedited processing. Manual task prioritization remains an option, allowing users to fast-track tasks already in the queue. Improvements in queue time calculations now consider task duration and server task caps to better estimate waiting periods. These priority deployment features are available to Cloud customers in an early access preview, with further details accessible in the documentation.
