Octopus Deploy 3.3

Octopus Deploy 3.3 introduces a range of new features and enhancements catering to various user needs, including support for zip and tar packages for non-.NET users, Azure Resource Manager integration with a new Resource Group Template step type, and improvements for ASP.NET Core. The release offers enhanced script execution capabilities, allowing script steps to source from packages and execute on the Octopus server without requiring a Tentacle, as well as enabling server-based steps to function as child steps in deployments. Additionally, the release incorporates JavaScript tools like OctoPack.js for easier package management in non-.NET environments, and introduces Azure Service Principal accounts for seamless integration with Azure services. Despite these advancements, the anticipated multi-tenancy feature was postponed due to feedback on its design, and remains a priority for future updates.
