As 2022 drew to a close, Octopus reflected on a year of significant achievements and growth, building on the momentum gained in 2021. The company expanded its team, enhanced its product offerings, and received an investment from Insight Partners. Key developments in 2022 included the general availability of Config as Code, the introduction of DevOps Insights, and enhanced integration capabilities with major platforms such as GitHub, AWS, and Jira. Octopus also focused on security, achieving ISO 27001 certification, and made its first acquisition with Dist to enhance cloud capabilities. The company launched various tools like the GitHub Actions workflow generator and Jenkins pipeline generator to streamline deployment processes. Octopus ended the year on a high note with a record fourth quarter and engaged customers completing over 36 million deployments. Looking ahead, Octopus plans to implement features such as dynamic environment support and Config as Code for Runbooks, continuing its commitment to improving deployment processes and supporting the DevOps community.
