Introducing Nylas API v3, now generally available

Nylas has announced the general availability of its API v3, which aims to enhance developer productivity by improving performance, security, and intelligence capabilities in email, calendar, and contacts integrations. This new version offers a more scalable and reliable platform, introduces instant email and event functionality to reduce latency, and eliminates the need to store data for non-IMAP accounts, thus boosting both performance and compliance with GDPR and CCPA. It also streamlines developer experiences with simplified integrations, intuitive APIs, and enhanced webhooks, and supports Microsoft Graph for better security and integration with Microsoft services. New features include Bounce Detection, Scheduled Send, and Smart Compose, which leverage AI to improve user engagement and automate communication processes. The API v3 sets a new standard for integrating communication capabilities, and existing users are encouraged to migrate from API v2, which will be retired on October 1, 2024.
