Nx 19.8 marks the final minor release before the transition to Nx v20, with enhancements that include the general availability of the nx import command, which allows users to import projects along with their git history into an Nx workspace. This release introduces improved task scheduling by leveraging historical data for better prioritization and efficiency, particularly beneficial for large batch commands. Project Crystal is now available for Angular, enabling the automatic generation of project.json files to streamline configuration management. Additionally, new Nx workspaces will be created with ESLint v9 and TypeScript-ESLint v8, reflecting the latest versions, and users are encouraged to migrate to ESLint's new flat config format. Nx Release has received updates to support pnpm publish and GitHub Enterprise Server, alongside new features for versioning and publishing. The Monorepo World Conference, scheduled for October, will feature new speakers and offers an exclusive Enterprise Summit, enhancing the Nx community's engagement and educational opportunities.
