Introducing Nx Powerpack

Nx has introduced Nx Powerpack, a suite of paid extensions designed to address common enterprise needs, while maintaining its core open-source offerings under the MIT license. The Powerpack introduces new features, including Codeowners for monorepos and Workspace Conformance, to enhance project management and maintainability within large codebases. Codeowners allows for project-level code review assignments, which are automated to match the Visual Code System (VCS) providers, while Workspace Conformance enforces organizational standards and maintainability rules on monorepos. Open-source projects can continue using Nx Cloud for free, with additional free access to Powerpack for open-source maintainers on request. The Powerpack is commercially licensed, with the revenue intended to support the continued development and sustainability of Nx's open-source core.
