This capability addresses various scenarios such as accidental data loss, failed migrations, and malicious activity, by minimizing data loss and downtime through continuous archiving of transaction logs. Managed via the Nhost Dashboard, PITR enables easy restoration to precise timestamps and even facilitates importing databases across projects. Available as an add-on for Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans, PITR offers a 7-day retention period, with plans to extend options and add backup features in the future. This feature enhances data security and reliability, providing developers with the tools to build more resilient applications while inviting user feedback for ongoing improvement.
