Nhost May 2022
Blog post from Nhost
In May 2022, Nhost introduced several updates to enhance its platform, including four quickstart guides for popular frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, and Vue, alongside a new Vue SDK aimed at simplifying integration with existing frontend frameworks. Customization options expanded with the ability to tailor transactional emails via GitHub integration, allowing changes to email templates and SMTP settings for better email deliverability. Nhost also enabled user sign-in via phone numbers with Twilio, adding to its existing authentication methods, and implemented general settings updates for roles, URL redirection, and multi-factor authentication. A significant improvement was made to Nhost Storage, transitioning to Go for a 5x performance boost while reducing memory usage. Additionally, Nhost improved its documentation, ensuring it remains current and relevant, and introduced the ability to specify a base directory for GitHub repositories, facilitating better integration for projects not located at the repository's root.
