File Stores is a newly released feature by Nhost that allows users to enhance their AI Assistants with information extracted from documents stored in Nhost Storage. This tool is designed to facilitate the development of applications across various fields, such as healthcare, academia, law, and accounting, by summarizing and analyzing documents like medical reports, research papers, legal contracts, and financial statements. File Stores operate by creating text embeddings for documents stored in user-specified storage buckets, and the process is automated by Graphite, which manages indexing and embedding creation without requiring any coding from the user. To utilize this feature, users need to upgrade to the latest AI service version and configure their File Stores via the Nhost Dashboard, enabling them to query and interact with their document data seamlessly.
