ngrok has announced the general availability of enterprise Single Sign-On for its dashboard, allowing customers to federate their ngrok accounts with their own Identity Provider (IdP) to manage user accounts in a central location and ensure security using multi-factor authentication. This feature is available as a self-service option for Enterprise customers and supports any SAML 2.0-compliant IdP, including Okta and AzureAD. The setup process can be accessed under the "Settings > Account" section in the dashboard. Users can log in with their SSO credentials or existing username and password, and IT administrators can invite new users to join their account through the Teams section. ngrok is planning to expand its features to include automatic provisioning and deprovisioning of users, as well as verifying email domains to gather individual accounts into a single corporate account. The company invites users to provide feedback through its Slack community.
