ngrok Network Traffic Inspector is now Generally Available with replay and additional retention
Blog post from Ngrok
Ngrok has announced the general availability of its cloud-based Traffic Inspector tool, which offers features such as live updating, extended retention of traffic data up to 90 days, and the ability to replay and modify requests for debugging purposes. This tool consolidates observability into a single location in the ngrok dashboard, enhancing the debugging process for applications by allowing users to filter traffic by specific time ranges and replay requests with modifications. The cloud-based Traffic Inspector is designed to improve upon the traditional local inspection interface, offering both a live view for real-time debugging and a static view for troubleshooting production issues. By extending the retention period and enhancing data storage and query optimization, ngrok has made it easier for users to manage and analyze large volumes of traffic effectively. The tool also supports users of the ngrok Agent SDK by integrating traffic visibility into the dashboard, regardless of the agent used, and allows for more advanced filtering and integration with cloud edges and endpoints in future updates.
