Business observability, which correlates telemetry data with business outcomes, is on the rise, with expectations of widespread deployment by 2027, offering reduced outage costs and downtime. The report also notes the benefits of full-stack observability in minimizing downtime and costs, alongside a trend toward tool consolidation, simplifying management and enhancing insight accuracy. While open-source solutions are used by over half of the respondents for some capabilities, they are not the predominant choice.
