New Relic attends AfroTech 2022

AfroTech, launched in 2016, is a conference aimed at uniting Black tech professionals to spotlight their talents and foster success in the industry. Since 2018, New Relic has sponsored AfroTech to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the tech sector by engaging Relics of Color and participating in various events, such as recruiting efforts and networking opportunities. The 2022 AfroTech conference, New Relic's fifth year of involvement, featured a cross-functional business strategy focusing on employee engagement, leadership investment, and building tech talent communities. Key events included a welcome reception, career development sessions, and a Black Girl Magic Lunch, all designed to inspire and connect attendees while promoting New Relic's culture and career opportunities. AfroTech provided a platform for personal and professional growth, enabling participants to expand their networks and gain valuable insights from talks on technology, authenticity, and emerging trends.
