This new feature from New Relic allows multiple stakeholders to view applications and servers from their own point of view by using labels and rollups, providing a custom view of the set of applications and servers relevant to each stakeholder's needs. The APM home page features a search box and "Show Labels" toggle, allowing users to filter down large sets of data with ease. Labels have attributes such as category and value, enabling rollups by category and aggregation of label values within that category. Users can automate the process of adding labels using New Relic's API, with future agent releases also supporting this feature. The goal of this feature is to help users focus on what they need to worry about, providing easy access to application and server performance information.
