New Relic Engineers' Favorite Tools

The results showed IntelliJ IDEA and Visual Studio Code as clear favorites among respondents, with comments highlighting their powerful features, ease of use, and ability to integrate well with other tools. Other tools mentioned by respondents included Bash, Keyboard Maestro, Trello, Sketch, curl, Sublime Text, and even pen and paper, which were valued for their simplicity, customizability, and lack of dependence on services or batteries. The survey's small sample size was acknowledged, but the insights gained provided a useful snapshot of the tools used by New Relic product teams.
