Multi-Attribute FACETs Now Supported for NRQL Queries in New Relic Insights
Blog post from New Relic
New Relic Insights has introduced multi-attribute FACETs as a new feature within the New Relic Query Language (NRQL), enhancing users' ability to analyze data by allowing them to consolidate multiple queries into a single, more powerful query. This development enables users to apply up to five FACETs in a single query, offering more nuanced control over data analysis by mixing and matching attributes to identify patterns and trends quickly. The feature reduces the need for multiple query permutations, streamlining the process of obtaining meaningful insights from datasets. Users can now visualize data in various forms, such as bar charts, tables, and time series line charts, to close gaps in data understanding that may arise from running separate queries. This capability is particularly useful for users seeking to draw comprehensive conclusions from their data, allowing them to explore different combinations of attributes with greater efficiency.
